I have revised my ping list as it’s commonly known that Internet changes every second and some of the ping services being brought down and some of the ping service being setup. I have personally tested my list at Making a PING List for your blog, removed majority of the non-functional ones. So check it out, those left behind are all fully working as it is.

Google usually pretty quick in indexing my blog, and it has proven that writing blog is the quickest way of having your web site indexed by Google. Why? because search engine loves fresh content, and make sure you submit your blog into Google Blog Directory, as you can see my blog ranked pretty high under “Internet Marketing Insights“.

If you are using Wordpress as your blog engine, I recommend you use Smart Update Pinger. Smart Update Pinger replaces the built-in update ping functionality. Instead of always pinging when saving a post, the plugin only pings when the post has not previously been published. Edits of posts are “silent”, in contrast with the default behaviour. Also, you can see a log for the latest pings, together with error messages (in the options page). The major advantage of using this plug-in is to avoid yourself being blamed for spamming every time you make a change to your published post.
